Stairway, Denied is a collection of guitar tabs, transcriptions, videos and background miscellany for off-the-beaten-track songs and bands.

It exists as an excuse for me to indulge a nostalgic obsession with music that has inspired me to play guitar, albeit poorly, for nearly 30 years. The focus is nineties and early-noughties alt-rock: it’s what I grew up with, and it’s an era littered with underrated and overlooked guitarists. As I settle into middle age you might see some blues and 70s rock too.

Dig in, and impress guitar shop employees and patrons alike with something they don’t hear every day.
